NURSE PRACTITIONERLutonCompetitive Salary + Excellent Support Package WE ARE PLEASED TO INVITE CANDIDATES TO APPLY FOR THIS EXCITING ROLE, ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT WE ARE LOOKING TO RECRUIT A NURSE PRACTITIONER.Background: The successful candidate will be joining a private healthcare provider, specialising in a wide range of in and out-patient surgery and diagnostic procedures across a number of specialisms. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join the hospital with outstanding facilities, a fantastic team atmosphere and contribute to the excellent patient experience which the hospital provides.Role:You must have the ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional team within a fast pace environment. The role requires you to function autonomously and within your sphere of competency, whilst being a support and resource to less experienced members of staff. You must be able to assess patients, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals / external agencies. Successful candidates:The ideal candidate will be able to:•Evidence of autonomous working and the skills in physical assessment required, diagnosis and treatment by use of portfolio•Evidence of extended skills eg suturing, x-ray interpretation and plastering as appropriate to the centre •Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.•Ability to demonstrate clinical expertise and knowledge of audit•Demonstrable critical reasoning skills and decision making•Demonstrable evidence of multi-professional / multi-agency working•Ability to prioritise patient care•Perceptive, flexible and effective leadership skills•Ability to demonstrate effective use of staff and resources•Complete understanding of the medico-legal aspects of the roleEssential role Requirements:•1st level Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC).•Proven post registration experience including evidence of working in any of these following clinical areas; Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, Minor Injuries / Illness Units, Acute specialities at a senior level•Evidence of team leadership and supervision of junior staff•Evidence of teaching and assessing othersPackage:•Salary depending on experience •Life Assurance•Pension Contribution•Continuing training and development opportunitiesLocation: Luton For more information regarding this role please do not hesitate to contact Independent Clinical Services for an informal conversation.Independent Clinical Services is working the capacity of a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
