Job Description

Our Colchester based Client, a reputable insurance and financial services Broker, is looking for a new member of staff to join the sales team.

Your role would be to call potential insurance clients, which could range from garages to shops, offices and restaurants, to find out information on their current insurance arrangements and arrange for an Account Executive to visit to talk through quotations.

This is a very challenging role that requires the candidate to overcome objections, promote and emphasise unique selling points of insurance contracts and be able to very quickly build strong rapport.

In return you will be rewarded with commission for any new business that you have initially introduced and you will work to targets in relation to the number of leads you generate.

Your ability to 'cold call' will be essential to your success.

Ideally candidates will have insurance sales experience, either internal (telephone based) or external, but our Client is also willing to consider telesales experienced Candidates with a proven track record in sales and lead generation.
