Furniture Designer - CAD London E14 £16,000 - £18,000 DOE Our client specialises in designer bathrooms, bedrooms and bespoke kitchens. Offering luxury rooms, using quality craftsmanship, their focus is on design expertise. An opportunity has now arisen for a Furniture Designer to join their team. As a Furniture Designer you will be responsible for delivering bespoke design solutions for kitchens and bathrooms. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will visit project sites, gaining experience of project installation. Using CAD software you will then produce technical drawings for bespoke furniture. Your duties will include: * Visiting the project site to obtain dimensions * Preparing, reviewing and submitting design drawings * Liaising with Project Managers and clients, obtaining specific needs and preferences * Quality control of all construction drawings before release to the workshop To be considered for the role of Furniture Designer, you must have a relevant qualification or industry experience in furniture or interior design. You also need to have CAD software experience. Additionally, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability work efficiently to a high standard. You should also have the enthusiasm to constantly improve and learn new skills and be eager to learn from the Design Managers. Although not essential, experience in furniture manufacturing would be beneficial to your application.
