Full Description:
Our client is offering this fantastic opportunity to join their prestigious organisation based in Ipswich. Working within the engineering department, you will produce prototype parts and products within for this market leading manufacturing company, completing professional test reports and record data for verification and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
• To produce prototype components, assemblies and products accurately from engineering drawings and instructions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Obtain manufactured prototype parts or stock items from other relevant departments.
• Communicate all problems including design errors arising from the construction of a prototype to either the engineer responsible or the Team Leader – Experimental & Test.
• To be responsible for professional test data preparation and reports to specific standards to enable compliance with any applicable safety legislation and to notified bodies,(noise, vibration, EN836)
• To be responsible for machine verification by recording field data (e.g. temperatures, hydraulic data) and to interpret.
Qualifications/Education
• Engineering apprenticeship and considerable experience of manufacture in a relevant engineering environment.
