Job Description

Sales Representative - External (Civils/Groundworks) Thurrock, Essex £Competitive Plus Car, Blackberry, Option to Join Pension and Share Schemes As a dynamic, customer driven business, our client specialises in the hire and sale of quality new and used non-mechanical plant to the construction, engineering, oil, TV and leisure industries and government funded bodies. Over the years they\'ve been involved in prestigious projects including the Millennium Dome, the development of Canary Wharf and the Scottish National Football Stadium. An opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Representative to join their team. Covering the Essex area, as a Sales Representative you will be responsible for maximising revenue from the hire and sale of our client\'s products. Working from an existing client account base, you will also be tasked with identifying potential new clients. Your focus will be on exceeding your hire and sales targets, in both sales volumes and sales activity. You will also ensure you regularly report contract and customer information to the relevant contacts within the company. To be considered for the role of Sales Representative, you must have: * A proven track record of sales management * Good knowledge of groundwork or previous experience of selling to the Civils/Groundworks industry Additionally, you will be a self motivated individual with the ability and enthusiasm to succeed in a competitive environment. You will also have exceptional communication skills and a professional appearance. Although not essential, a degree (or equivalent) in civil engineering would be beneficial to your application.
