Job Description
Are you looking for a move within the retail sector? My client is looking for a part qualified accountant to join their group function. The company, which has prestigious offices in the strand, will require a forward thinking candidate with a part qualification in either the ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
The role, which will report directly into the Financial controller, will be responsible for dealing with the group accounts. The role will be broad in its outset as it will aim to work across management accounts (to trial balance), together with VAT returns, bank reconciliations and ad hoc analysis. Working on the group function the focus will be on timely and accurate reporting.
The candidate profile will be a recent graduate with 2-3 years experience within a retail background. This company have a history of promoting from within and will be in an excellent position to bring this candidate through their department in line with their qualification. Typically the candidate will need to have strong academics, a graduate from a blue chip university (2.1 or above) and a strong work ethic.
