Job Description

We are currently looking to appoint a Practice Nurse on a permanent full time basis to work for a large Healthcare Provider in a Walk in Centre based in Essex. This is an opportunity for a RGN with significant experience in Practice Nursing to join a progressive team. This role will include a varied remit of clinical nursing duties such as Health Promotion, Immunisations, Chronic Disease Management, Well Woman Assessments and Family Planning. Other responsibilities are to include developing nursing policies and protocols and reviewing the nursing service throughout the practice. Also to evaluate health promotion and nursing protocols in conjunction with the General Practitioners. You will have excellent organisation skills and be able to maintain patient records and undertake administration skills such as participating in meetings as and when required and stock control of medical supplies. You will have excellent communication skills understanding the importance of team work as well as confidence to work autonomously and also have a dedication to self progression, with a willingness to undertake any training updates as and when required.
