Job Description

The investment management affiliate of the world`s leading real estate services firm has undergone a period of significant growth and is subsequently looking to recruit a Fund Accountant. The role will report directly to the Financial Operations Manager working alongside two existing fund accountants.

Your responsibilities will be to support in the day to day accounting and operation and in the quarterly reporting cycle f the portfolio of fund vehicle and segregated client accounts. Due to the small nature of the team there will be many varied tasked.

It is a pre-requisite that you have proven experience in accounting and monthly reporting for fund of property funds, in agreement with SLAs.

Other responsibilities will include

• Preparation of fund NAVs & overall monitoring of 2 fund of fund vehicles

• Liaison with fund administrators and custodians

• Performance analysis & measurement of investments, client accounts and fund vehicles

• Contacting underlying fund administrators to obtain up-to-date prices

• Assist in FX hedging and forecasting

• Preparation of quarterly reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis

• Preparation of revenue forecasts

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of fun accounting, including fund of funds

• Sound technical accounting skills

• Solid knowledge of investment principles

• Previous experience of accounting for fund of funds or property funds

• Good problem solving skills and an analytical approach are essential

The position is initially for 6 months paying £30 ph Ltd company
