Job Description

Sales Executive, FMCG, Music Industry. Location Witham, Essex. £20,000 Basic, OTE £25,000 + Benefits This company are an international producer and distributor of music that is sold through a variety of channels including Europe\'s major retailers. In the UK their products can found in most of the major grocer multiples, the leading music and entertainment stores and many other general retail outlets. Due to continued growth they are now looking to appoint a Sales Account Manager to help develop the existing account portfolio in both the independent and major multiple retail sectors. This role reports into a highly experienced Sales Director who is passionate about mentoring, coaching, training and development of their staff. The expectation for this role is to grow into National Account Management and as such you will be the type of individual that is hungry to develop your career and with training and experience, to take on more and more responsibility. As well as providing support to the National Accounts you will be given full responsibility for the existing gift channel and your clients will include independent gift stores, garden centres, toy shops and online retailers. Although based from their Essex head office your role will involve face to face meetings, helping to develop the relationship at store management level. New business initiatives will include mail shots, calls (telephone and in person) and attending various trade shows. To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 18 months FMCG sales & administration experience. You will be an ambitious, career focussed individual with exceptional communication & presentation skills. You will have experience of working to targets in a cross-functional environment.
